2. Father D’ Souza Gold Medal in 1960 for the essay on “Socio-Economic Problems.”
3. Ravindra Medal instituted by the U.G.C. for the essay in English on “Rabindranath Tagore” in 1961.
4. First Prize in an essay competition held by Humanitarian League, Bombay for the an essay on “Philosophy & Religion” in 1962.
5. First Prize for the best Article “Panja Vinano Pahelvan” published in a Magazine “Nayan Jyot” in 1972-73.
6. First Prize from NCERT in the category of the best children’s book in Gujarati Literature “Nani Umar Motu Kam”.
7. “Yagnesh Shukla Award” for outstanding work in Journalism.
8. Awarded a Medal by Parshva Padmavati Sanman Samiti (Bombay) in 1974 for being one of the five scholars who produced highly spiritual literature.
9. First prize in a short story competition organised by the Shishu Mangal Parivar in 1974-75.
10. First prize for the best Article “True Life” in a Magazine “Nayan Jyot” in 1976-77.
11. Gold Medal from Shrimad Buddhisagar Sahitya Granthmala for “Balako Na Buddhisagar” in 1978.
12. “Sanskar Award” from Sanskar Parivar for the book “Apang Na Ojas” in 1978.
13. Silver Medal from “Navchetan” magazine in 1978 for writing on journalism.
14. Trophy for being one of the three outstanding young personalities of Ahmedabad organised by the Ahmedabad Jaycees in 1979.
15. All India Jaycees Award for being one of the Ten outstanding young parsonalities of India in 1980.
16. Casket awarded by Zalawad Jain Sangh for getting a prize of Rs. 5000/- from NCERT in 1980.
17. A Prize of Rs. 1000/- by NCERT in 1981 for writing “Haiyu Nanu, Himmat Moti” in the category of children’s literature.
18. Hanuman Prasad Poddar Prize from Lok Sanskruti Shodh Sansthan, Rajasthan for the best book in devotional literature (1981).
19. Research Award : A prize sponsored by Hari Om Ashram for “Bhaikaka Inter University Smarak Trust” awarded by Sardar Patel University, Vallabh Vidyanagar in 1983.
20. Dr. K. G. Nayak Medal (Twice) for outstanding research work in the Arts Faculty of Gujarat University – 1981 & 1985.

Literary Prizes won
1. ‘Lal Gulab’ (1965) won the 1st prize in the category Childrens Literature awarded by the Govt. of Gujarat.
2. ‘Mahamanav Shastri’ (1966) won the 1st prize at the 16th national prize competition for Childrens Literature organised by the Govt. of India.
3. ‘Dahyo Damro’ (1967) won the 2nd prize for Childrens Literature awarded by the Government of Gujarat.
4. ‘Kede Katari, Khabhe Dhal’ (1969) won the 1st prize at the 15th national competition in the category of Children’s Literature.
5. ‘Biradari’ (1971) 1st prize awarded by the NCERT at the 10th National Competition for Childrens Literature.
6. ‘Motne Hathtali’ (1973) won the second prize for Childrens Literature awarded by the Gujarat Government.
7. ‘Apangna Ojas’ (1973) won the 1st prize at the 18th Competition for Neo-Literates organised by the Govt. of India.
8. ‘Motini Mala’ (1975) won the prize in the 18th National Competition for Neo-Literates held by the Ministry of Education & Social Welfare, Government of India.
9. ‘Haiyu Nanu, Himmat Moti’ (1976) won the 1st prize awarded by the NCERT at the 10th national competition for childrens literature.
10. ‘Nani Ummar, Motu Kam’ (1978) won the 1st prize awarded by the NCERT at the 21st National competition for Childrens Literature.
11. ‘Akhabari Lekhan’ (1979) Gujarat Sahitya Academy prize at the competition of meritorious books in the year 1983.
12. ‘Balakona Buddhisagarsurishwarji’ (1979) won a Gold medal from Prakashan Samiti.
13. ‘Anandghan : Ek Adhyayan’ (1980) won ‘Hanuman Prasad Gold Medal’ awarded by the Rajasthan Lok Sanskriti Mandal in 1983.
14. Shri Dhanji Kanji Gandhi Award for literature by the Gujarat Sahitya Sabha for the year 2002.
15. He was awarded the prestigious Kalikalsarvagnya Hemchandracharya Gold Medal by Shrimati Dhiruben Patel who presided over the annual conference of the Gujarati Sahitya Parishad in December 2005. This gold medal has been instituted in the memory of Kalikalsarvagnya Hemchandracharya who had made stupendous contribution in the sphere of literature, culture and the spirit on non-violence.
